I was born in Sunderland and always had an interest in Art in my schools years but never pursued Art as a career. I went onto train as a registered mental health nurse and bringing up my 2 daughters. Over the past 18 month I found my love of coloured pencils, such as Faber- Castell Polychromos and Caran D’ache pencils. I draw on good quality paper including Grafix Drafting film and Clairefontaine Pastelmat which is light fast, archival paper. Gaining inspiration from Patreon my journey began and I have never looked back.
I now do commissions for pet portraits and wildlife. I find drawing helps with my own mental health and helps me switch off from a busy day at work.
I have exhibited my work in Bath Gallery in Bishop Auckland and EDAN gallery in Seaham.
