Finding a rusted coal cutting tool in a Blast Beach rock pool under Nose's Point during the same week that I read about women marching on Downing Street sporting black head scarves was one of the synchronous moments that happen during research sometimes. I made ceramic forms, printing stencils and plaster casts from the tool which inspired a series of pieces for edan's Shifted exhibition.
