I enjoy working with a variety of media, oils, acrylics, water colour using plaster-of-Paris on card, canvas and stone etc. I use home produced &/or professionally produced mounts and predominantly use re-cycled frames. Having spent over 45yrs in the North East I principally produced landscapes of subjects within the region. Having spent most of my life in science and technology I consider myself a late comer to Fine Arts

Although while at school I was frequently complimented in my ability to reproduce
scenes anything from a science experiment to a biblical story as a result some may
consider much of my standard work as artistic technical drawings. Although I do
enjoy creating more experimental pieces now and again, and have produced a few
portraits of family members.
