We can think of anything from pools of water, through pooled gambling 'The Pools', shared resources among a specific group (a clothing pool?)

Human beings have been fascinated by the Moon since the dawn of time. We have often designated it a female deity – given names to it in various forms – Luna, Diana, Artemis, Selene.

These were sited in Fulwell (behind the mill and still in existence), Seaham, (demolished for the construction of the housing estate)

The RNLI have organised their own series of events, but we would like to mark the occasion from our own perspective as artists who have a relationship with the coast.
